This walking trail is linear, starts near the Sanctuary of our Lady of the Assumption, it passes through the village of Vila Boas, and ends in Vilarinho das azenhas.

The village of Vilas Boas is marked by the richness of its artistic, architectural, and religious heritage that manifest itself in the parish church of the Saint Mary Magdalene.

The trail follows the half slope of the imposing granite massif of the Faro Mountain. It is a landscape of morphological, lithological, floristic and faunistic contrast with the lowlands of the Terra Quente Transmontana plateu.

Before arriving at Vilarinho das Azenhas there is a deviation to the Sanctuary of our Lady of Remedies. The end of the trail is marked by the varied heritage of his village, including the church of Santa Justa.
